2. Geltungsbereich

- bar oder per Nachnahme, sofern diese Option verfügbar ist;

- bar oder mit Karte am Recotech Standort, abhängig von den verfügbaren Zahlungsmöglichkeiten;

Contact details:

Email: office@recotech.ro

Telephone: +40 731 900 700

2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern use of the Recotech website, submission of quote requests and the contractual relationship concerning reconditioning services, supply of reconditioned components and related services, unless the parties agree specific written terms.

By using the website or submitting a request, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms.

3. Role of the website and catalogue

The website is intended for information and allows users to view available services and components and to submit quote requests.

Information displayed in the catalogue, including images, descriptions, compatibility information, availability and other technical details, may be indicative and must be confirmed before work is carried out or a component is supplied.

Submitting a quote form does not by itself constitute automatic acceptance of an order or formation of a contract. A contract is considered concluded after Recotech confirms the service or product and the commercial conditions and, where applicable, these conditions are accepted by the customer.

4. Requesting a quotation

To prepare an accurate quotation, we may request information such as vehicle make, model, engine, VIN, engine code, OE/OEM code, photographs of the component or other relevant details.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information supplied. Incorrect identification caused by incomplete or inaccurate information may result in changes to the quotation, turnaround time or technical solution.

5. Component assessment and reconditioning

For components sent to us for reconditioning, the final assessment may only be possible after the component has been received, dismantled and inspected.

If the inspection identifies additional faults, components that cannot be reused or work that could not reasonably have been identified initially, Recotech may provide an updated quotation before continuing the work where the change is material.

Depending on the component, reconditioning may include inspection, dismantling, cleaning, checking, replacement of worn or damaged components, reassembly and testing.

6. Reconditioned stock units and exchange of the faulty component

For certain references, Recotech may supply a reconditioned unit from stock on an exchange basis. In this case, the commercial arrangement may require the corresponding faulty component to be handed over or returned.

Conditions relating to the condition of the old unit, return deadline, possible additional charges or circumstances in which the unit cannot be accepted for exchange will be communicated in the quotation or before delivery is confirmed.

7. Prices and quotations

The final price is the price confirmed in the quotation sent to the customer and may depend on the type and condition of the component, required parts, work performed, transport and other requested services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a quotation is valid for the period indicated in it. If no validity period is specified, Recotech may request reconfirmation of price and availability before carrying out the work.

8. Payment methods

Depending on the requested service and the quotation conditions, payment may be made:

- in cash or by cash-on-delivery service, where available;

- in cash or by card at the Recotech premises, depending on available payment options;

- by bank transfer.

For advance payments by bank transfer, dispatch or handover of the component may take place after receipt of payment has been confirmed.

9. Collection and delivery

Recotech may organise collection and delivery of components through partner courier services. Transport costs and conditions are communicated to the customer according to the circumstances.

The customer is responsible for packaging the component appropriately for transport so that it is protected against impacts, leaks and damage. Where necessary, the component must be drained of fluids before shipment.

To the extent permitted by law, Recotech is not responsible for damage caused exclusively by inadequate packaging by the sender.

10. Turnaround times

Any communicated turnaround times are estimates and may vary according to the type of component, its condition, the complexity of the work, availability of replacement parts and transport.

Recotech aims to process many common jobs quickly; however, a turnaround of up to 48 hours cannot be guaranteed for every component or technical situation.

If Recotech becomes aware of a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer.

11. Installation of components

Reconditioned components must be installed correctly in accordance with applicable technical instructions and the vehicle manufacturer's procedures.

For warranty purposes, installation must be carried out by an RAR-authorised workshop, and documents proving installation may be requested in the event of a warranty claim.

Before installing a reconditioned component, external causes that may have led to failure of the original component must be identified and corrected. Damage caused by an unresolved external fault may affect warranty coverage in accordance with the warranty certificate.

12. Warranty

Components reconditioned by Recotech are supplied, subject to the warranty certificate, with a 6-month commercial warranty with no mileage limit, unless a more favourable condition is communicated in writing for the relevant product or job.

The warranty is conditional on correct installation, compliance with technical instructions and the component not being opened or dismantled without authorisation.

In the event of a claim, Recotech may request the component for inspection, purchase documents, installation records and information about the vehicle.

The commercial warranty does not limit consumers' statutory rights under applicable law.

13. Returns, withdrawal and cancellation

Rights relating to withdrawal from a contract, cancellation or return apply in accordance with applicable law and depend on the nature of the product or service.

For reconditioning services performed on the customer's own component, customised work, services whose performance has begun at the customer's request or components prepared specifically for a customer, exceptions to the right of withdrawal may apply as provided by law.

Before returning a component or submitting a complaint, the customer must contact Recotech so that the applicable procedure can be established.

14. Customer responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate information about the vehicle and component, follow packaging, installation and usage instructions and must not make unauthorised interventions to the reconditioned component.

To the extent permitted by law and subject to the warranty conditions, Recotech cannot be held responsible for issues caused by improper installation, misuse, contamination, failure to remedy the original cause of failure, unauthorised modifications or other causes external to the reconditioned component.

15. Website content and intellectual property

Texts, graphic elements, photographs, trademarks, logos, structure and other website materials are protected by intellectual-property law and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without the rights holder's consent, except where permitted by law.

16. Website availability

We use reasonable efforts to maintain the correct operation of the website, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or the complete absence of technical errors. We may modify, suspend or update certain functions where necessary for maintenance, security or development.

17. Complaints and dispute resolution

For any issue concerning a quotation, job, delivery or warranty, please contact us first at office@recotech.ro or +40 731 900 700 so that we can review the situation.

Consumers also benefit from complaint and dispute-resolution mechanisms available under applicable Romanian and European law.

18. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform an obligation where this is caused by force majeure or another event recognised by law, for the duration and to the extent of the effects of that event.

19. Applicable law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Romanian law. Any disagreement will, where possible, be resolved amicably; otherwise, the jurisdiction rules provided by law will apply.

20. Changes to these terms

Recotech may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect legislative, operational or service-related changes. The applicable version is the version available on the website at the time the service is used, without affecting rights already acquired by the customer.

- în numerar sau prin serviciul de ramburs la livrare, dacă această opțiune este disponibilă;

- în numerar sau cu cardul la sediul Recotech, în funcție de opțiunile disponibile;
